Actually Americans such as yourself need to learn that not everything needs to be doused in syrup and butter. French Toast in the parts of Europe where it originated is a savoury dish; not a sweet one.

  7. I make my French toast like that sometimes but i use red chili powder, black pepper, salt, parsley, an a little bit of milk…damn now i want some!

  8. Hahaha, i like yours, but it is only true if you live in english Canada. Moi je suis Québécois! Thus I buy québécois and have a great education aswell as a greatly diverse culture.

  10. WTF she says ”beat the eggs” so do i get a egg and start hammering it…

  11. she offers no measurement: how many eggs–how much salt–etc.

  12. Simple and delicious! Thanks for the variation on an old favorite.

  14. Being Canadian is about driving an American car to a Canadian bar for an American beer, travelling home, grabbing American, or American food on the way, to sit on American furniture to watch American tv shows on an American TV. AAYYYYY….!

And the most Canadian thing of all? Most of you never leaving our own Country and becoming even the slightest bit cultured.

I was born in Canada, but I’d take how you just spoke of the British way over our ways any day!

  15. how can that be a french sandwich if it is indian and it looks like britain one

  16. the lady needs to learn that everything does not go with mustard and ketchup

  23. Yeah, strange ain’t it? Here’s to you.
Being British is about driving in a German car to an Irish pub for a Belgian beer, then travelling home, grabbing an Indian curry or a Turkish kebab on the way, to sit on Swedish furniture and watch American shows on a Japanese TV. Cheers!
And the most British thing of all? Suspicion of all things foreign!

  24. Canadians.

  25. Nope, ripped and educated. 2x fail…
