  1. I *think* she means Italian Creme Cake. And, no, there is no (NO) pineapple in it. Wowsas. This is like a train wreck. I can’t stop watching.

  2. Ha, Ha, I’m a welder and this reminds me of all the welding videos I watch. All the comments talk about what a bad welder the guy is, and how bad his welds are, and how he is doing it all wrong. Their welds are the only ones that are any good -but guess what… they don’t have any videos of how to do it right.

  3. Good God America. This is not Cooking. It’s ‘food assembly’ at best. Totally artificial. Totally pre-packaged (egg whites in a carton?) You have taken a beautiful, traditional Italian cake & completely fucked it up. A monkey could do this. There is no love, no skill, no soul.

  4. Oh no. Not store bought icing again! rolls eyes

  5. Good God! That blasted cake mix had almost totally solidified in the box. Use a flamin’ sieve woman!!! And that is far far too much vanilla “aigsrak” a dessertspoon (10ml) is reasonable.

I think walnuts would be more traditional as they’re also native to Europe & melt nicely in baking. Dessicated coconut has been available for a very long time, so I can see that as being used as a touch of luxury. It might be a nice cake if you made it properly and left off that gakky icing.

  6. IF YOU DON’T WANT THAT ‘STORE BOUGHT TASTE’ MAKE IT YOURSELF…..sorry to go all Kanye but…..bitch please.

  7. I don’t think they’re actually wedding cakes. I think that’s just what they’re called. Like Madelines and Napoleons. I could check, but I just wanted to throw that out there.

  8. I have never been to an Italian wedding where the cake had PINEAPPLE, COCONUT, or PECANS. What the hell Sandra?

  9. This does look wonderful! Usually I don’t go for Sandra’s recipes, but I’m gonna try it!

  10. omigosh this looks amazing. I’m going to make this!
