Cooking Manicotti With Brittany and Brianna

Here we are cooking one of our favorite Italian foods called manicotti. The ricotta cheese we used was in a 30 OZ container so that equals about a little over 3 cups. We just noticed that our title was supposed to say 3 1/2 cups not 2 cups, just a typo mistake.

If you really want to kick up the flavor try to find some Impastata Ricotta, thats the best tasting Italian ricotta and can be hard to find. We will also make a video on how to make the manicotti shells from scratch instead of buying ready made shells.

You can also use a half tsp of salt in the filling but we don’t use salt in our recipe due to watching our sodium intake.

We always boil the water first before adding the pasta but we did it the other ways for demonstration purposes.

Hope you enjoy!

these are Italian words and the vowls are pronounced differently .. so go sit down with your egg noodles and ketchup or left overs from the olive garden, and watch a sopranos episode and learn how to speak our language, you Merrican’s! make me laugh,
